시장 골목으로 들어서자 마자 오른쪽에 위치한 찬누리 닭강정
이집 앞, 옆으로 닭강정 집이 적어도 4개는 있었다

저 큰 기름통에 닭을 바싹하게 튀기고

특허 낸 양념을 버물리면....

요런 아무데서나 먹을 수 없는 정말 맛있는 닭강정이 나오죠~
두명이서 중 시켜 배가 터지도록 먹고도 남겼다
사진 보니 또 전철 타고 지금이라도 갔다오고 싶은 마음이 굴뚝같다
아... 한 박스 투고 해올껄 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

 나온김에 아싸리 시장 구경도 쏵~

시장은 언제나 나에겐 정겨운 곳이다
조그마한 공간내에서 손님을 끌고 또 흥정하며 사고파는 정겨운 길
한번 들어가면 어디서 뭘 들고 나올지 예상할 수 없는 시장
미국에서는 쉽게 찾지 못하는 시장골목, 참 그리울것 같다 

점심시간이라 사람들이 북적북적했던 동인천역 주변 먹거리 길

계란빵, 정말 오랜만이다
난 용가리빵이 더 먹고 싶은데, 그건 우리 동내에서만 팔던 거였나?

조지타운 같이 이쁘다는 삼청동을 찾아서...

조지타운의 M street 못지 않게 아기자기한 가게들과 카페가 많다는 삼청동을 찾았다. 

시청역에서 내려 마을 버스타고 쭈~욱 언덕을 올라 내린 곳은 바로 요기...

눈나무집

김치말이 국수와 떡갈비가 유명한 이집!

눈나무집 앞에서 

이런 이뿐것을 가르켜 주고 맛집으로 데려가 준 윤신언니

내가 정말 좋아하는 사진이 올라가는 계단 옆 벽에 붙어있어 처음부터 난 이 음식점이 맘에 들었음 ㅋㅋ 

가족들과 친구들 다 여기로 데려온다는 윤신언니가 음식 주문중

이 집의 별미 = 떡갈비, 왕만두, 김치말이 국수!!

겉에서는 별것 없는 것 같지만 삼청동 다른 카페들처럼 안은 정말 아기자기

위에 토핑 다 먹으면 아래는 밍밍하다고 사이드로 나온 팥 (직접 만드신 듯 하다) & 고소한 땅콩!

 삼청동 카페골목 둘러보기~

삼청동의 매력은 길에 나란히 있는 테마 카페와 레스토랑이다

맛도 있지만 각각 특별한 분위기로 모든 연령층이 붐비는 이 거리!

경제적 여유만 있었다면 정말 다 들려보고 싶다 ㅋㅋㅋ

삼청동을 떠나며~

삼청동에선 걸어서 인사동, 청와대 등등 주변에 또 구경할 곳이 많다

약속때문에 다른곳을 둘러보지는 못했지만 역으로 가는길에 재밌는곳을 많이 지나쳤다

직접 뽑은 떡으로 만든 떡볶이 파는곳!

Korea: FOOD

I still haven't figured out the best way to organize my blog posts but after a week of stay in Korea, I had this sudden urge to brag about the food I've had here. Whenever I come to Korea, I come with this ambitious goal of losing weight, which involves some serious disciplinary actions to cut down my calories. Um, no thanks, seriously though. There is soooo much delicious food here that I am legit committing a crime if I restrict my diet to chicken breast and salad everyday.

(The literal translation is fist rice because you use your hands to mix all the ingredients together and mold it into small (or large) balls or rice. This place is also famous for chicken feet, which I don't have a picture of since I didn't really eat one...)
